As many people know, Apple’s iPod touch looks almost identical to the iPhone, and has many similar functions, but the former just can’t be used for calling your friends.

You can do a ton of things within Apple’s iPod; it is an mp3 player, you can surf the Internet with it by tapping into a wireless network, you can play games in it, and it can be a digital organizer with great applications for the business man.

Apple’s iPod touch is almost a mini-laptop, except that you will never want to type documents in it.

And as the 3rd generation of this series has been launched recently, the newer versions of Apple’s iPod touch, the 32GB and the 64GB versions, comes with better capabilities than their predecessors.

Sadly, it is said that the 8GB still used the older version of capability like its predecessor. However, in terms of functionality, even the 8GB Apple iPod touch is still one of the best handheld gadgets around yet.

Cons of Apple’s iPod touch

The only con I can think of is that touch screens are not the best platform to type words or letters, and if our hands or fingers are little too big, mistakes will be easily made while typing.

That is one of the reason why I always hesitate to get touchscreen gadgets. And even after a long while, I still don’t get used to it.

Still, it isn’t a great reason enough not to get an Apple’s iPod touch, as there are so many functions in just one little piece of gadget.
