MyDogTag Gift Review

I was about to start with another relationship advice, however I just received a package from Canada. Some time ago somebody emailed me to review their gift, and they gave me a free gift to try it out. Anyway it took about 3 weeks to reach me, because the company is from Canada, Toronto and I am living in Singapore, South-east Asia.

Now I agreed only if they allow an unbiased review from me, and so here I am sharing from my personal experience. Before I begin, I want to first say that this blog is never obligated to give a biased review even if I receive any monetary gain from it. As with review sites like Sponsored Reviews or ReviewMe, the bloggers are never obligated to be bias in their review.

So I will begin my review.

MyDogTag Gift Review

MyDogTag.com specializes in personalized dog tags. You can choose unique designs for your tags and have them print a special message or your initials on to them.

Now what are dog tags? They are used in the army as a form of identification. During a war, if someone is missing or has perished, these dog tags serves as identification for the army to know who is gone. So dog tags do hold sentimental values, and it can be a sentimental gift for your boyfriend or girlfriend.

After I opened up the above package, these are what I saw inside:

It looks pretty neat in presentation for me. I took the plastic package and the leather bag, and out came:

Dog tags
4 colored silencer (supposed to be only two, but I guess they wanted me to evaluate their designs.)
1 Long Fastener ( I received 3 of them; 1 metallic ball chain, 1 black and 1 tan leather fastener)
1 Short Fastener (I received 1 metallic ball chain)
2 Accessories

Instead of my name, since I am reviewing in BoyfriendGiftIdeas.org, I thought I just put the blog’s name instead, with a little message. MyDogTags have some pretty unique designs and Nintendo’s controller design is my choice since I am quite a gamer.

There are 4 silencers of different colors that are given to me, but instead of showing you the silencers by themselves, I will show you how they look like with the dog tags.

Army Styled Silencers

The silencer of the dog tags do add to the overall design of the gift, and these are the usual colors that are used in the army. They look okay, but a little boring since I have seen these silencers everywhere.

Other Styled Silencer

These silencers look outstanding to me! I like the colors myself as I have hand picked them (the army styled ones are given), and so I felt it is a great combination!

Anyway, I just want to share with you that when you buy any dog tags from MyDogTag.com, you are not receiving only 1 dog tags; you are receiving a pair, and I initially thought it was printed on double sides. Silly me.

Hence, you can give one to your boyfriend or girlfriend, and keep one yourself as a couple thing.

MyDogTag Accessories

These accessories are found in the leather bag, and it looks really great. However I really do not how to use them. I believe that it is used with the leather cords, so I thought that MyDogTags should provide a little instruction on how to effectively use their accessory.

Anyway, the leather bag is an accessory by itself, but as seen in the above picture, it is really nothing fancy, and I am happy with everything else without the leather bag.

My Verdict

These dog tags range from 8 bucks to 15 bucks, and it can be a pretty neat inexpensive gift for your boyfriend or girlfriend. I like it myself and I believe that your beloved will like it too! So if you want to order one by yourself, visit MyDogTag.com!

That is because when I arrive at MyDogTag.com, I was little overwhelmed in the amount of stuff they have in that very page. If you notice the site, they do indicate which is Step 1, or Step 2 etc. so after some trial and error you will know how to create a personalized dog tag design on their site.

Anyway, if any advertizer is looking at this video and think that I am just going to do one for you for free, I don’t think so. I just happen to have the tools to do this for my readers in this site and I am not receiving any gains for this.

mydogtag.ca is a HORRIBLE COMPANY! They sent one engraved tag, and one blank. They also forgot to send my silencer. When trying to work with them, they told me SORRY, the only way to fix it is to place ANOTHER order, but they would give me a discount. All I wanted them to do was FIX this problem. But, they refused. STAY AWAY FROM!!
